Below are the recommended system requirements for running VirtualDJ:
Ideally, your computer should meet and preferably exceed the recommended requirements.

- Intel® i5™, AMD Ryzen 7 or better
- Windows 10 or newer
- Multi-channel soundcard
- 8 GB RAM or more
Additional for Video mixing
- AMD™ or NVIDIA® video card
- Dual-screen output for second monitor
Additional for stems 2.0
- Windows 10 64-bit or newer
- NVIDIA video card (GTX 1050 or above with 4GB VRAM, RTX with 6GB VRAM recommended)
- or AMD video card (Radeon RX 5600 XT or better)

* VirtualDJ 2024 is not supported by older Operating Systems. VirtualDJ 2020 can still be used and downloaded here.

Windows XP / Windows Vista
Windows XP and Windows Vista are only supported up to VirtualDJ 2018 build 4787 (download)
macOS X 10.7
macOS X 10.7 is only supported up to VirtualDJ 2018 build 4918 (download)
macOS X 10.8 / 10.9
macOS X 10.8 and 10.9 are only supported up to VirtualDJ 2020 build 5630 (download)
macOS X 10.10
macOS X 10.10 is only supported up to VirtualDJ 2021 build 6878 (download)
macOS X 10.11 / 10.12
macOS X 10.11 and 10.12 are only supported up to VirtualDJ 2021 build 7183 (download)
macOS X 10.13
macOS X 10.13 is only supported up to VirtualDJ 2023 build 7921 (download)
Please be aware that it is highly recommended to upgrade to a more recent operating system; as these are no longer supported there is a high risk of malware. New controllers, features and updates are also not available for these older builds.
Notes:
- Some older DJ hardware may not be compatible with the latest available Operating systems. Before upgrading, you should check the manufacturer's websites to ensure that all hardware that you will be using (Sound cards, MIDI controllers, etc.) is compatible.
